Steve Karol, Launching deeper into your gallery from the Political Artwork Contest... What comes to mind for me is the ideals: 1) Question Authority, 2) Energy never dies, 3) Let me People Think. My husband is an University Librarian and also hold a 2nd Masters in Systematic Theology (what an oxymoron!) He had the opportunity to study in Oxford with the late Ravi Zacharis, a Christian Apologist, that offered a leading scientist & mathematician intensive workshop. I think both are important, a Belief in a Higher Purpose and Space is expansive. When I sat beside Isaac Asimov, before he stood up (I was so embarrassed) he had taken my naivete not knowing anything to ask me for 3 words then wrote a funny limerick, handed it to me, and went to the podium. I thought he was the living out deep convictions and spiritual hospitality & #2 way of life. Striving toward PRESENCE & BALANCE. Your artwork is welcome to inspire us & display over in the ACL, Art CHANGES Lives! Fellow, GJ glorijean

These are people who know what God's law is. Trust them without question. That's what you call "science".
Richard Page
Which is why the old rhetoric by those that don't really understand science say such things as "Science can be discussed and has a process which rationally can be proved or disproved unlike religion "...when in fact all science is no more provable than any religion as both are subject to the observer, it just makes them feel clever.
Steve Karol
Unlike religious doctrine this treatise isn't written in stone and can change as new theories come up and old ones are proved and disproved.
Steve Karol
Mr. Bayer missed the point and in so doing proved my point. Science can be discussed and has a process which rationally can be proved or disproved unlike religion which people have been killed and tortured for the mere disagreement with any particular doctrine.

Also. #7. Light only travels at the constant speed you are referring to, c=2.99x10^8 m/s , in vacuo. As for number 9, Alex Buer, I believe he is referring to the fact that the universe is expanding. If you research a little yourself you will find out that astronomers have determined that every point in the universe is moving away from us. No matter where we point our telescopes. Thus the universe is expanding, and objects that are further away are moving faster.
